Our History
3.5 million of all Tanzanian children are out of school due to economic hardship. In the Ngarenanyuki region, where our Kisimiri project is based, a large number of students enrolled in primary school do not graduate.
We believe that all children should have equal access to opportunities to grow and reach their full potential. Our organization aims to bring people together to provide educational resources to empower all children with access to quality basic education. Upendo Kwanza’s support includes funding for tuition, providing mentorship, connecting local schools with educators and volunteers, etc. A child who arrives at school feeling healthy and happy is a child with a strong foundation to learn and achieve their dreams.
All our founders are young people with origins in Tanzania. Having received their early education in the Tanzanian public school system and now working as professionals in various fields, they have first-hand experience of the value of opportunities from organizations like Upendo Kwanza. As an organization, we aim to expand these opportunities to as many children as possible. With your support, we can bring this vision to reality. Support us today!
Upendo Kwanza
Calls for help for underprivileged children
We strive to provide the necessary educational resources to help underprivileged and underserved children reach their full potential.
Vision
To create a world in which every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education and achieve their dreams. We envision a future where children in rural Tanzania have access to the resources and support they need to succeed, and where educators and volunteers from around the world are able to come together to share their skills and expertise with these children.
Mission
To help underprivileged children in rural Tanzania with the necessary educational resources to enable them to reach their full potential. We are doing this by providing tuition funding, school supplies, mentorship, and connecting local schools with educators and volunteers from various parts of the world.
